RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage a team to meet undergraduate admissions marketing objectives, lead undergraduate admissions' social media marketing efforts across various social media platforms, including strategy, content development, collaterals development and working with partner agencies.
- Oversee and manage undergraduate and postgraduate marketing communications efforts and campaigns to key stakeholders at every stage of the prospective students' funnel.
- Lead international outreach efforts for undergraduate recruitment, keeping up-to-date on current and emerging trends across the international higher education landscape, and generating original and creative marketing and outreach initiatives to position SMU as a University of Choice.
- Work closely and strategically with local and international educators, principals and teachers, including taking part in fairs, information sessions, roadshows and school events and running programmes for prospective students to generate interest in SMU as a University of Choice.
- Helm stakeholder account management and support admissions' selection processes during the admissions season.
- Degree with at least 8 to 10 years of relevant experience.
- Strong understanding of the local and international higher education and university admissions landscape, with demonstrated experience in higher education marketing.
- Demonstrated experience in social media marketing, including developing social media strategy, content generation, campaign management and analytics reporting.
- Proven track record in cross-functional stakeholder management, spearheading new collaborations and growing strong strategic relationships across all stakeholder levels.
- Excellent writing skills with the ability to write succinct and engaging copy and vary writing styles across different audiences and platforms, both online and offline.
- Excellent presentation skills with the confidence to present to very different audiences across a range of events, from Open House talks to joint university panels.
- Very strong customer service mindset with the ability to respond to different types of personalities.
- Global orientation, with a willingness to travel.
- Working level proficiency in Mandarin will be an added advantage.
