As a Lactation Consultant, you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Plans, organize and deliver parentcraft class services
- Assist in parentcraft classes programs and activities
- Responsible for helping with breastfeeding and child care questions and concerns
- Educating and training newborn's parents in how to correctly care/breastfeed their babies, offering tips during the first feedings, and maintenance of milk supply
- Review, improve and implement the practice standards and guidelines in accordance with the Nursing Clinical Practice Guidelines
- Implement and coordinate educational programs, events or talks
Requirements:
- At least Diploma / Degree in Nursing
- Registered Nurse with SNB
