As a Senior Staff Nurse (Daycare), you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Responsible in providing cost-effective care in accordance to policies and procedures.
- Complies with approved standards of nursing practices.
- Responsible for assessing the needs and delivery of quality geriatric and dementia nursing care to clients.
- Perform pre-assessment of new clients.
- Administer documents to be submitted to government body.
- Assessing and coordinating with healthcare team to assess, plan, implement and evaluate clients' conditions.
- Monitor and assess clients' progression and implementing care plan.
- Providing health promotion and counseling to clients and families.
- Performing nursing care such as mediation administration and wound dressing.
- Overseeing and managing the performances of the nursing team or care staffs.
- Coordinating, implementing and monitoring clinical and service quality performance indicators for continuous improvement plan
- Perform CPR, AED and first aid to clients and plays an active role in emergency situations.
- Assist and support delivery of health promotion activities in the Centre.
- Participates in infection control campaign activities.
- Assumes additional responsibilities as assigned by Senior Nurse Manager.
- Participates in training and development of care staff.
- Other duties assigned by Senior Nurse Manager or Center In-Charge.
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Nursing and be registered with Singapore Nursing Board
- Candidate who possess Advanced Diploma is an advantage
