Duties & Responsibilities
- Actively conduct risk assessments at project site and recommend measures to minimize and eliminate possible risks to any person.
- Preparation and implementation of Safety Program
- Ensure all work practices comply with company safety policy, RBA and WSH act
- Ability to identify problems and provide solutions
- Advise on work plan / Risk Assessment / safe work procedures
- Plan, design and establish the Environment, Safety and Health (EHS) Framework in the company
- Able to lead fellow colleagues and inculcate them towards safe work culture
- Conduct regular internal and external audits and prepare findings reports.
- Prepare and submit weekly safety report as required by management and clients
- Other ad-hoc duties assigned by the Project Manager
Requirements & Qualification
- Holding Certificate in WSH Coordinator Course/ Building Construction Supervisors Safety Course and/or any Relevant Safety Certificates from any approved institutions will be preferred.
- Registered as Workplace Safety & Health Officer and Environmental Control Officer with at least three (3) years of post-registration and practical experience relevant to the scope of works of the contract. Candidates with building experiences will be advantage.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressures in a fast pace environment.
- Candidate from Semiconductor company will be advantage.
- Short notice period or can immediately onboard will be advantage.
