- Evaluation and comparison of tender vessel requirements against new building or existing vessel specifications.
- Attend and manage dealings with designers, classification, and flag statutory on engineering issues.
- Liaise with designer/classification society/vendors/construction team/Shipyard/Shipbuilder for any engineering or design issues.
- Defining and reviewing technical specifications from designers and vendors.
- Liaise with vendors, to ensure equipment specifications meet owner, class and customer requirements.
- Ensure design and drawings meet owner, class and customer requirements.
- Liaise with designers and shipyard for vessel-related electrical, automation and digitization matters.
- Evaluation / comparison of tender vessel requirements against new building/existing vessel specification
- Responsible for New Building vessel design and engineering, to ensure vessel design meets owner and client requirements and objectives.
- To ensure vessel design achieves cost efficiency.
- To ensure vessel design meets to the IMO and flag latest regulations and client’s requirements.
