Executive Engineer
As an Executive Engineer, you will oversee projects, ensuring funding sources, detailed scope of work establishment, engagement of consultants and contractors, design review, and project management. Working within a team environment, your responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring work progress, conducting design reviews, reviewing materials, and monitoring costs.
- Regularly liaising and reviewing designs and work progress with project consultants and authorities on development projects.
- Conducting technical studies and reviewing technical submissions.
- Coordinating with architects, M&E consultants, and various government departments for project approvals, executions, licenses, etc., as directed by the General Manager.
- Handling quotation requisitions for major projects and jobs beyond the department's capacity, ensuring proper execution through effective supervision.
- Conducting briefings for advisors and other stakeholders.
- Collaborating closely with advisors, team leaders/members, and government/non-government organizations on development issues.
- Administering contracts for development projects and managing a multidisciplinary team to ensure projects are delivered cost-effectively and on time.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Building/Civil & Structural/Mechanical/Electrical) with at least 3 years of relevant experience in the building industry.
- Familiarity with developer/construction projects.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Organized and capable of multitasking.
- Experience in leading project teams or equivalent.
- Must be PE (Professional Engineer) certified.
