About Our Client
Our client is a leading investor based in Singapore, focusing on communications, data centers, and technology infrastructure. They operate in over 15 countries across Asia Pacific, the US, and Europe.
Job Description
- Ensure procurement activities follow governance, cost efficiency, and timely project delivery.
- Source key vendors/suppliers for project support, manage tenders effectively.
- Set criteria for vendor selection.
- Negotiate and finalize major contracts with Legal and internal teams.
- Present recommendations to senior management and procurement stakeholders.
- Work with Legal and users to negotiate vendor contracts.
- Keep procurement processes and policies relevant and aligned with business goals.
- Follow DOP/DOA for all purchase orders and decisions.
- Engage with stakeholders to develop and implement procurement strategies.
- Prepare and present procurement reports.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers to achieve cost savings and quality.
- Assist the Head of Procurement in guiding the procurement team at HQ and in new markets.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply chain management, Business management or equivalent
- 8 years+ experience in procurement process, contract management preferably in data centre industry.
- Knowledge of Data Center, construction, engineering, procurement, industry standards
- Strong communication, negotiation & decision-making skills
- Experience in leading procurement projects across multiple regions
- Experience in Ariba would be an advantage
