Responsibilities:
- Design and execute comprehensive integration tests for the Signaling system.
- Oversee the commissioning process for the Signaling system.
- Facilitate communication with suppliers, partners, and customers regarding testing and commissioning activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology (IT) or a related field.
- Minimum of one year of experience in a similar role, performing integration testing and commissioning.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, demonstrated through the ability to:
- Craft clear and concise test design documentation.
- Clearly articulate complex technical concepts.
- Persuasively advocate for solutions during meetings.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, including nights and weekends during critical testing and commissioning phases.
Technical Skills:
- Proven experience with railway systems and signalling, with a specific focus on Automatic Train Supervision (ATS) systems for Communications-Based Train Control (CBTC) projects.
- Proficiency in GNU/Linux operating systems.
- Strong understanding of systems engineering principles, system administration practices, and network and operating system hardening techniques.
- Solid foundation in network architecture concepts, encompassing topology, protocols, components, and underlying principles.
