Job Responsbilities
- Discuss new molds, mold modifications and engineering
- Modify existing tooling and design new tooling to improve manufacturability and/or resolve issues
- Make recommendations & validate repairs on all tooling when needed
- Ability to work with others to meet customer demand on time delivery and produce quality products
- Follow up & meeting date lines for Injection Mold tasks & projects
Job Requirements
- Diploma in Manufacturing Engineering / Precision Engineering or Technical qualification or at least 10 years of relevant work experience
- Experience with tight tolerance plastic injection molding, tooling design and development
- Experience in tooling repair to solve & follow up process improvement
- A strong knowledge of plastic injection molding tooling & fixtures--a mold making background is ideal
- Ability to run tool room equipment (grinders, milling, EDM, etc.) will be an advantage
- Meeting Clients quality with Tooling FA approval and Delivery on time for production.
- Knowledge in 3D CAD Die Modelling, UG NX software knowledge will be an advantage
- Able to perform overtime
- Able to perform rotating shift if project required
