Lufthansa Technik Logistik Services is currently seeking a highly capable candidate for the position of Head of Asia Pacific Solutions. The position falls within the Component Logistics, Transportation and Sales Division of Lufthansa Technik Logistik Services (LTLS) and is based in Singapore. The Head of Asia Pacific Solutions supports the Senior Director of Component Logistics, Transportation and Sales. The candidate will be expected to:
- Lead, motivate and develop an intercultural team of around 15 employees within Asia
- Develop and implement regional business strategy for LTLS Asia including sales and product strategy
- Expand business activities by acquiring new customers and/or increasing business with existing customers
- Design and implement logistic solutions/services for new and/or existing customers in the region and Lufthansa Technik’s (LHT’s) Asia organisation
- Manage accounts for existing customers contracts to:
- continuously increase customer satisfaction
- continuously monitor and improve services with regards to performance and quality KPIs
- plan, analyze and steer cost, revenue and profitability of customer contracts
- Plan, analyze and steer cost, revenue, profit for Asia region and develop appropriate measures to achieve commercial targets
- Develop and manage the regional transportation network of LTLS
- Collaborate closely with other LTLS departments and regions to keep worldwide standards
- Collaborate closely with LHT’s regional organisations to support the joint LHT Group growth in the region
- Lead complex and large projects
- Any other assignments as required
Your Profile
- University degree in Economics, Business Administration, Logistics, Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in logistics or aviation maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO), preferably in the function of sales or consulting
- Minimum of 3 years of regional leadership experience
- Possess a high level of business and entrepreneurial thinking
- Able to adapt to business needs and working under pressure
- Self-motivated, systematic and able to work independently in a dynamic environment
- Strong ability to collaborate with various different stakeholders
- High level of customer and service orientation
- Effective communication, analytical and problem solving skills
- Likes working with teams from multiple nationalities
- Committed to team results
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Knowledge of the German or another Asian language is beneficial
- Able to travel within Asia and to Europe regularly
