Brief Description
Gym Tonic (GT) is an evidence-based Strength Training Programme for the elderly. It uses specialised machines to build muscle strength in seniors aged 60 and above. Reporting to the Senior GT Trainer (in the absence, to report to the Senior Manager of the Eldercare division), the GT Trainer conducts the GT Programme at BCARE Gym Tonic Centre located at Blk 574 Hougang Street 51 and ensures the general safety and operability of gym equipment and hygiene.
The job responsibilities for this position include:
● Conduct and supervise GT training programme for elderly participants
● Conduct physical fitness assessments for elderly participants
● Develop training programmes based on the existing protocol
● Perform data analysis of fitness results and reports
● Assist Senior GT Trainer in daily operations and ensure general safety in the gym
● General maintenance of the gym facilities and hygiene
