The School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering is looking to hire a Research Associate for the development of Li-ion battery digital twin. The Research Associate will play a vital role in advancing our objective to improve the performance and safety of batteries and drive innovation in the field of battery management systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform experimental testing of Li-ion batteries.
- Develop optimization frameworks for thermal and health management of EV batteries.
- Develop components of a battery Digital Twin (includes system integration, data processing, data quality control, and data visualization)
Job Requirements
- Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or Energy Engineering or related fields
- Knowledge of Li-ion battery chamber testing
- Research experience in battery thermal and health management.
- Research experience in machine learning model development.
- Experience in Digital Twin development
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Matlab, Python, and Javascript
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English as required to publish research.
