Postition: Accounts Executive
Location: Tuas
Salary: Up to $3500
Job Description:
• Financial Reporting: Ensure timely and accurate month-end closing and annual financial reporting, covering full set accounts (AP, AR, Cash & Bank, Fixed Assets, Inventory, GL, reconciliation) in compliance with SFRS and company requirements.
• Monitor Payments: Track and follow up on Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP).
• GST Filing: File monthly GST returns.
• Inventory Management: Conduct monthly stock-taking and prepare inventory status reports.
• Order Processing: Process purchase orders and prepare invoices and delivery orders for local and overseas customers.
• Internal Coordination: Work with the purchasing, sales, and logistics teams to track shipment status and update customers.
• Supplier Follow-Up: Document damaged/defective items from suppliers and follow up for claims.
• Audit and Tax Preparation: Liaise with auditors and tax agents to prepare financial statements and tax computations.
• Administrative Tasks: File and update administrative records.
• Ad-Hoc Duties: Handle other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
• Minimum Diploma in Accounting or 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience or knowledge of Singapore GST and Corporate Tax preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel/Office; knowledge of SAP B1 and familiarity with import/export operations are advantageous.
• Ability to work independently, deliver results, and meet deadlines.
• Analytical, meticulous, systematic, and process-oriented.
• Self-motivated with good interpersonal and communication skills.
