Responsibilities Include:
- Deliver instructor-led or virtual classroom training to partners and end-user customers on a regular schedule.
- Collaborate with key vendors to ensure accurate and effective training content.
- Demonstrate a desire to excel in training and consulting.
- Maintain a continuing interest in staying current with the latest industry trends.
- Utilize new technologies such as distance learning or video conferencing.
- Provide quality, technically relevant instruction, assessment, and feedback in both lecture and laboratory settings.
- Prepare a complete syllabus for students, ensuring the appropriate listing of all course objectives.
- Regularly design and update instructional course materials.
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience conducting instructor-led/classroom training for related technology products and services (preferably familiar with Red Hat).
- Experience in designing and developing instructor-led content with technical subject matter.
- Excellent oral presentation, interpersonal communication, and writing skills.
- Ability to use multiple learning methods and link appropriate methods with subject matter.
- A technical degree (e.g., Computer Science) or relevant work experience required.
- Strong "stage presence" and ability to manage a room of adult learners.
- Self-sufficient, self-starter with a proven track record of successfully taking ownership of training projects.
- Certifications such as Red Hat Certification, MCT, ACLP and others related to vendor certifications are a plus.
