Responsibilities
- Derive test cases /scripts out of the system requirements and design specification
- Create test documents based on identified test cases and drive the approval process with the test manager and lead.
- Design , develop and maintain automation testing process framework and scripts for telecom industry
- Write test automation scripts (UFT/ Service Virtualization) to improve efficiency of testing and fast track it
- Carry out Functional, Load ,System Integration(E2E) ,Regression & UAT testing
- Establish test environment and test data management for different testing activities
- Support system developers with the root cause analysis on issues encountered
- Work closely with various development teams in analysis issues for further bug fixing
- Complete software testing lifecycle from planning, development, creation of test requirements , preparation of reports and tracking of bug fixing
- Provide test progress monitoring and regular reporting on all project activities to the project management team
- Write test automation scripts to improve efficiency of testing and fast track it
Qualifications & Experience
- Graduate in Science/Engineering
- Certified Software Tester (CSTE) certification ,if any
- ISTQB Test Certifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Software testing - manual & automation
- Experience in test documentation, test execution (manual & automation),defect management and reporting
- Experience in telecom domain (Telco CRM ,BSS,OSS,Network etc)
- Basic Knowledge on automation tools like QTP/UFT ,LoadRunner
- Knowledge in Service Virtualization Server and Designer
- Strong knowledge on 3G ,4G, broadband and Core Technologies
- Exposure to Cloud Platform like AWS
- Experience and good understanding on configuration management tools and test & defect management tools like HP ALM/QC for test management
- Extended ability in interpersonal ,intercultural communication and contribution to multiple teams and interfacing with customers
