PROCUREMENT ASSISTANCE
(A) Key Functions and Responsibilities
1 Issuing, sending of PO via email and keep track of PO for procurement activities.
2 Liaising with store to monitor stock inventories required by Operations Unit is in place to avoid
any potential material shortage
3 Liaising with plant for their requirements.
4 Maintain an updated list of current and incoming inventory
5 Liaising/correspondence with suppliers to schedule deliveries or to discuss shortages or missed deliveries
6 Continuously sourcing of parts/materials as and when required
7 Performing Goods received and updating of system
8 Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and other necessary data
9 Co-ordinating with forwarder for preparing of documents/permit for incoming shipment clearance
10 Continuously liaising with Sales and other departments for their new requirement of material/parts
11 To negotiable and obtain best price quotes from suppliers based on various PR request within the company
12 Deals with defective goods damaged goods as and when required
13 Performing monthly stock take
14 Any other ad hoc jobs assigned
(B) Supplementary Functions
1. Involve in others functional roles in the company – General Administration.
(C) Skill/Experience
1. Minimum 1 years of working experience in procurement.
2. Management skill and ability.
3. Self-motivated and able to work independently.
4. Good communication skill.
5. Good command in English, both verbal and written.
6. Computer literate.
