Job Description
The candidate will focus on the modeling and optimization of electric vehicle charging in power systems. The target of the project is to smoothly facilitate the charging activities of substantial EVs in power systems through advanced optimization methods for an enhanced economy.
Qualifications
Applicants are expected to have PhD degrees in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Control and Automation, Power and Energy, Applied Mathematics, or other related fields.
o Solid modeling, programming, and good communication skills are required
o A good research record in battery areas is required
o Similar research background and good writing skills are required. The candidate should be either an optimization expert or a machine learning expert.
o Deep understanding of optimization, machine learning, and artificial intelligence is highly desired
o Strong motivation and interest in staying in academia are desired
o A good publication record is highly desired
