- Ensures understanding of project scope of work and meeting client needs in accordance with project standards and requirements.
- Plan the project schedule in advance, prepare starting tools, and divide worker groups
- Prepare safety documents RA etc. before the project starts.
- Manage project scope and change control with or without business impact.
- Procures and requisitions materials according to interpretation of construction and technical drawings.
- Communicate engineering/technical/quality requirements to team members.
- Provide project coordination with clients, PMD, Procurement, Engineering, Contracts and Finance departments and subcontractors and liaise with other REL business units.
- Work closely with prime contractors and clients to ensure projects meet required needs.
- Work with subordinates to perform monitoring and installation supervision to deliver projects in a safe, quality and productive manner.
- Liaise with client representatives and subcontractors on all project issues to ensure safe and efficient project delivery to the satisfaction of both the company and client.
- Communicate with the Project Management Team/QAQC Team to validate and document all changes and highlight changes involving additional work to the PM.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical
- Min 3 to 5 years work experience as Mechanical Project Engineer in Construction Industry
- Experience in project co-ordination with client, engineering and procurement departments
- Experience in co-ordinating with site construction team for installation, testing and commissioning works
- Preferably with overseas experience
