Kerry Consulting is partnering with a well established international payment solution company. This is a brand new headcount in the closely knitted legal team based here in Singapore as a result of continuous growth globally. This will be an exciting opportunity for a legal counsel with prior experience in payment solution and/or merchant acquisition experience to join the team.
Job Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing, drafting and negotiating a broad range of agreements in relation to merchant acquisition. Such agreements includes but not limited to merchant agreements, marketing agreements and Saas agreements etc.
You will also serve as a legal advisor to the business in relation to new product launches and providing legal research expertise in relation to new jurisdictions. You will also actively keep yourself abreast of any new laws and regulations related to the payment services sector and keep the internal stakeholders updated on potential impact to the business in a timely manner.
Requirements
In order to succeed in this role, you should be a qualified lawyer with at least 6 years PQE. Prior experience in the payment industry or merchant acquisition business would have an advantage. You should have the ability to work independently and also demostrate collaboration as part of the wider team.
