Job Overview:
The Executive Engineer will play a critical role in overseeing and managing engineering projects, ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of systems, mainly in remote water and environmental monitoring systems. The role requires a combination of technical expertise, project management skills, and leadership abilities to drive the successful execution of engineering projects and operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement operational procedures and systems to ensure smooth running of operations, including, installation, commissioning, routine maintenance of remote water and environmental monitoring systems
- Participate in the development and implementation of new products as required, including quick prototyping, firmware programming, sourcing, and production. This helps to build up your practical engineering knowledge in handling operational projects.
- Coordinate timely fault rectification
- Reports generation and submission
- Administration of project claim
- Develop and maintain documentation, and ensure compliance
- Develop and implement contingency plans to minimize the impact of unexpected events
- Provide training and support to staff on operational procedures and systems.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
- Strong knowledge of engineering principles and operations management.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Proficiency in swimming and comfort working in and around water bodies, canals, ponds, lakes, reservoirs, tidal gates etc.
