Are you a seasoned accounting professional looking to make a significant impact in a dynamic environment? We are seeking a Senior Accounting Lead to oversee our large and dedicated accounting team. In this pivotal role, you will manage the entire spectrum of accounting functions, ensuring precise and timely monthly closings and comprehensive financial reporting. Your expertise will also drive our financial planning and analysis efforts, enhancing cost efficiency while nurturing and coaching team members of 30.
Your Impact:
- Financial Stewardship: Lead month-end closings, prepare detailed financial reports, and ensure accuracy in all journal entries and general ledger maintenance.
- Strategic Financial Planning: Analyze financial performance against budgets, prepare insightful cash flow forecasts, and ensure proactive financial management.
- Account Management: Conduct thorough reconciliation and analysis of accounts, oversee bank accounts, and swiftly resolve any issues.
- Revenue Management: Oversee invoicing, manage receivables, and ensure timely collections from customers.
- Expense Control: Prepare purchase orders, process payment vouchers, and review expense reports meticulously.
- Inventory Oversight: Monitor and control inventories, ensuring optimal stock levels and accurate reporting.
- Compliance and Governance: Ensure strict compliance with all accounting, tax, statutory, and legislative requirements, adhering to group policies.
- Team Leadership: Lead, manage, and develop a high-performing accounting team, fostering a culture of high performance, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Additional Duties: Tackle other tasks as assigned by management, contributing to the overall success of the finance team.
What We’re Looking For:
- Educational Background: Degree in Accountancy, with at least ten years of experience in general accounting and reporting, including three years in a management role.
- Professional Credentials: Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CA/CPA). Experience in finance shared services management is a significant advantage.
- Preferred Experience: Audit background is beneficial but not mandatory. Familiarity with Microsoft NAV is advantageous.
- Skills and Traits: Highly organized, analytical, and capable of thriving under pressure while maintaining high accuracy. Proficiency in multiple languages (English, Bahasa, Mandarin) is a plus.
- Professional Integrity: Demonstrates high professional integrity, honesty, and trustworthiness. A proactive, team-oriented approach is essential.
