The Global Freight Forwarding (GFF) Finance Analyst in Region Center of Excellence (COE) mainly engages in financial reporting and analysis. He/She acts as the key F&A liaison with the Operations, GAC/Accenture, GBS teams in areas of financial systems support, compliance, internal controls (e.g., revenue recovery, Accounts Receivables, audits, billing adjustments, etc.), forecasting, and annual business planning.
Job Responsibilities
- Participates and coordinates with Ops & respective Non-Ops functions to establish business plans to align with operational capabilities and top-down targets
- Performs variance analysis to provide data for evaluating business results.
- Prepares materials for financial analysis and business planning reviews and committees.
- Oversees Capital Expenditure and Operating/Non-Op Expenses
- Support and coordinates with countries, GAC/GBS to ensure smooth Month-end Closing
- Manages compliance matters such as Self-assessments, 3PDD, FCPA, Record Information Management and Physical Inventory Audit requirements
- Participates and encourage continuous performance improvement in financial elements such as Unbilled Shipments Charges, Billing Adjustments and Revenue Recovery
Job Requirements
- Possess a Degree in Accountancy, Finance or related fields. Professional certificates such as ACCA will be a plus.
- Possess 2-3 years of relevant experience in a COE role will be advantageous.
- Demonstrate good communication and presentation skills to interact with stakeholders across different levels.
- Display good analytical and reasoning thinking.
- Possess proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Microsoft Excel). Working knowledge of VBA, SQL and Power BI will be a plus.
- Comfortable to work independently with minimal supervision.
