Responsibilities
Assist the Head of Department in the sales and marketing of the Company’s point-of-care testing products such as diabetes, cholesterol and drug-of-abuse test kits for chronic disease management in the local and overseas market. It typically involves direct interaction with customers, building relationships and closing deals.
Key duties include:
- Work with Marketing Communication team to create awareness, generate interest and building demand for the products.
- Develop deep understanding of the products and prepare inspiring proposal and presentation to effectively highlight product features, benefits and value proposition to healthcare facilities including hospitals, clinics, nursing home and laboratories.
- Consistently engage and build trustworthy professional relationships with existing, new and potential clients.
- Provide good customer service; address client inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure optimal customer satisfaction.
- Monitor and report on market trends, especially on competitors’ sales and marketing strategies.
- Co-ordinate and participate in exhibitions, road shows and marketing events.
Qualification
- A Degree in Marketing or a related discipline.
- Good understanding of customer relationship management and data analysis software useful.
- 3 to 5 years of sales and marketing experience, preferably in the healthcare industry.
- Good networking with local healthcare institutions an added advantage.
- Results driven with a proven track record in sales.
- A team player able to work independently and across team.
- Good time management, communication, problem-solving, adaptability and negotiation abilities.
- Pleasant and approachable personality.
- A self-motivated, determined and results-driven individual.
