Position Duties
· Manage regional service roles and assist in setting up new equipment upon arrival in the territory
· Assist in planning and formulating mid to long term Service strategy along business vision and strategy
· Perform accurate diagnoses, services , preventive maintenance at end-users locations within the region
· Communicate diagnosis and needed services of equipment to
· Prepare service reports and accurate estimates for quotation of service works.
· Review, plan and prepare Service Department’s budgets, forecast and reports
· Translate technical manual, SOP and training material for regional use
· Provide technical workshops, troubleshooting support, and operator training on-site to ensure smooth operations and support for key accounts, including after-hours troubleshooting as needed.
· Grow and train Service team within the company and create Asian Service Network jointly with distributors to improve the company’s presence in the Region
· Embrace continuous quality improvement methodologies and evaluate staff and programs to enhance efficiency of service provision
· Act as a regional trainer, train distributors/end customers to independently service/operate our equipment.
· Ad hoc assignment Ad-hoc tasks, as assigned by management

Requirements:
· Master/Doctor’s degree in Materials Engineering or related discipline
· Fluent in Japanese and English to best communicate with internal stakeholders, strategic distributors and customers across regions
· Minimum 8 years of XRD services and training experience in the region
· Power user in Excel and PPT. prepare bilingual training/workshop materials
· Ability to exercise independent judgment, subject matter expertise and principles of influence and rational systems in making decisions and performing tasks
· Strong business acumen with excellent cross-cultural communication skills
