Job Description
• Planning, coordination and supervision of on-site activities.
• Manage permit application & any other administrative work.
• Ensure all aspects of the project align with required engineering specifications, procedures & site regulations.
• Foster effective communication by liaising with contractors, subcontractors and other project stakeholders (internal & external).
• Supervising and managing site projects from start to finish, ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications.
• Reporting project updates, milestones and potential risks to reporting manager and key stakeholders.
• Analysing and interpreting engineering drawings, survey reports and other technical documentation to guide the work process.
• Planning and overseeing allocating resources, materials and equipment to optimise project efficiency.
• Monitoring project costs & identifying cost-saving opportunities.
• Providing technical guidance and expertise to resolve challenges.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
Qualifications
• GCE O-Level or equivalent.
• Holds class 3 or above driving licence.
• Holds SSSC (Shipyard Supervisors Safety Course).
• Holds forklift licence.
Skills / Knowledge / Experience
• Experienced as a site engineer (preferred shipyard).
• Familiar with shipyard rules & regulations (permit application, VSCC meeting, etc).
• Able to prioritize and multiple tasks.
• Able to work in a fast-paced & dynamic environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and ERP systems.
• Hands-on & willing to learn new skills.
• Good organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
