We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join us. The successful candidate will be responsible for Design, implement, Maintain, Administration, Storage and Security of the whole network Environment. The candidate will be working with regional team and manage regional change management, problem management activities. The role will be a combination of both support and implementation.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for day-to-day operations of Global Network and Security Infrastructure
- Troubleshooting, configuration and maintenance of Network and security devices.
- Configuring and troubleshooting F5 Load balancers and Proxy Devices
- Troubleshooting Checkpoint and juniper firewall
- Cisco routing and switching, LAN/WAN Infrastructure support.
- Experience in DNS, DHCP infrastructure and managing wireless environment.
- Good understanding of networking protocols such as BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, MPLS
- Good experience using multiple firewalls platform such as Cisco ASA, Checkpoint, Palo Alto and FortiGate
- Managing of Servers; AAA, SNMP, Syslog, NTP, DHCP, FTP, DNS, AAA, DNS and DHCP
- Managing of Cisco Routers ISR/ASR Series and Switches Catalyst 6500,4500,3750,2960 & 3560 Series Significant exposure to 802.1x, TACACS+ and Radius.
- Evaluate new network technologies to better improve efficiencies, security posture and meet business objectives
- Requires subject matter expertise in networking with demonstrated success designing and deploying large scale WAN and data center networks.
- In-depth technical knowledge in Storage Area Network & Network Attached Storage
- Extensive experience in the storage infrastructure design, configuration, and administration, tuning, optimizing and troubleshooting.
- Must have experience in Enterprise Storage, Enterprise NAS (NFS, SMB/CIFS) and SAN (FC and ISCSI) products and Cloud solutions Primarily NetApp BlueXP (7 and C-mode), AZURE, GCP and on- prime Netapp, Huwaei, Hitachi, HPE 3PAR, XP8, P9500, EMC PowerMax and Brocade Switches.
- Develop, document and update standards documentation
- Final technical escalation point of contact for network technologies
- Provide 24/7 support (including weekend, public holidays) on escalations.
- Manage weekend deployments and change activities.
Requirements
- Strong technical expertise preferred in Routing and Switching (Cisco, Arista), Packet decoding and analysis, SDWAN (Versa preferred), Data Center fabric design, Firewalls – (Palo Alto and Illumio preferred), Web Proxy solution, Load Balancing (F5 LTM, GTM, ASM), Remote Access Solutions
- Minimum 12 years of relevant experience working in Network (routing & Switching) along with Network Security and Storage
- Experience with Load Balancers (such as F5, Avi) required.
- Proxy device experience in either Bluecoat or McAfee proxy is required.
- Familiarity with AAA framework and experience with Network Access Control (NAC) solutions such as Cisco ISE, Aruba Clear Pass
- Experience in DNS, DHCP infrastructure.
- Good understanding of ITIL methodology, in-depth knowledge in incident, change and Problem management process.
- Coordinate with Storage Engineering team members and third-party consultants in the completion of project deliverables
- Design, Build and Deploy storage infrastructure according to Engineering certified solutions and devices
- Coordinate with Project Manager and Application owner to plan and schedule a change window for migration
- Familiar with Network Monitoring Software Solar winds, MRTG and PRTG
- Strong proficiency in Chinese & English for the interpretation, understanding of documentation and other related communication received in local language (Simplified & Traditional Chinese) and translate it to English language for Project team's benefit.
- Must possess experience working on projects covering Taiwan or China regions, interacting with Chinese-speaking users / stakeholders based in Taiwan or China
