Job Summary

The Sales Engineer / Service Engineer will play a pivotal role in driving the sales and servicing of ACMV (Air Conditioning and Mechanical Ventilation) and BMS (Building Management Systems) solutions. The candidate will be responsible for understanding customer requirements, providing technical support, managing projects, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through effective service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Engineer Duties:

1. Sales and Business Development:Identify and target potential customers and business opportunities in the ACMV/BMS market.
   Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors.
   Prepare and deliver technical presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
   Negotiate and close sales deals, ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction.
   
2. Technical Support:Understand client requirements and provide appropriate ACMV/BMS solutions.
   Assist in the preparation of tenders, RFQs, and RFPs.
   Conduct site surveys and assessments to determine client needs and system requirements.
   Provide technical support and training to clients and internal sales teams.
   
3. Project Management:Oversee the execution of sales projects from initiation to completion.
   Coordinate with internal teams and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of products and services.
   Monitor project progress, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
   

Service Engineer Duties:

1. Installation and Commissioning:Supervise the installation and commissioning of ACMV/BMS systems at client sites.
   Conduct testing and troubleshooting to ensure systems are functioning as designed.
   Provide on-site training to clients on system operation and maintenance.
   
2. Maintenance and Repair:Perform regular maintenance and servicing of ACMV/BMS systems to ensure optimal performance.
   Diagnose and repair system faults and issues promptly.
   Maintain accurate records of service activities and client interactions.
   
3. Customer Support:Provide prompt and effective technical support to clients, addressing their queries and concerns.
   Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
   Offer recommendations for system upgrades and improvements.
   

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications in ACMV/BMS systems are a plus.
• Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in sales, installation, commissioning, and servicing of ACMV/BMS systems.
• Proven track record in achieving sales targets and delivering high-quality service.
• Strong knowledge of ACMV/BMS systems, including design, operation, and maintenance.
• Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for system design and analysis.
• Candidate with Class 3 driving license is an added advantage to the role (Not mandatory)
