Role: SRE - DevOps Engineer (Ref. No: 9015)
Type: Yearly Renwable Contract
Requirement
1. 3-5 years of experience in full stack development, with a focus on React, object-oriented Typescript, and NodeJS.
2. Experience in user interface design with a thorough understanding of contemporary design principles.
3. Solid grasp and hands-on experience with web technologies and testing frameworks.
4. Proficiency in database CRUD operations via object-relational mappers, coupled with an excellent command of SQL. Experience with Sequelize ORM framework is desirable.
5. Extensive experience in the development of RESTful APIs, preferably using NodeJS.
6. Good working knowledge of protocols, including TLS, SSH, SCP, HTTPS, and LDAP.
7. Familiarity with the complete software development lifecycle and CI/CD pipeline. Comfortable with version control systems (GIT, Bitbucket) and integration tools (Jenkins).
8. Experience with defect tracking / management tools such as Jira.
9. Understanding of Agile Methodology, particularly Kanban.
10. Exceptional troubleshooting, debugging, analytic, and diagnostic skills.
11. Ability to manage projects independently with minimal supervision.
12. Added advantage if candidates posses the following skill sets :
a) Programming: JavaScript, Bash, VBA
b) Libraries & Frameworks: EJS
c) Tools & Platforms: Bitbucket, IBM Tivoli Workload Scheduler, Operations Planning and Control/ESA (OPC/ESA)
d) Database & Database Tools: MariaDB, MaxScale
13. Candidate must be willing to work out of office hours when required. (Including weekends and public holidays)
