Job Description
- Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure
- Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools
- Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
- Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possiblesolutions, and work with developers to implement those fixes
- Maintain security, backup, redundancy and BCP strategies
- Participate in the design of information and operational support systems
- Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution8.Manage the VMWare environment9.Provide enterprise-wide support to a high level of Microsoft Windows
- Support the HPE and Hitachi environments
- Provide support in a 24/7 environment and would require to work on-call at least 1 week every month
Job Requirements:
- Diploma / Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- IT System Management experience of various aspect
- Possess initiative, positive attitude and strong passion in operation support
- Good communication skills and able to work independently;
- Able to start work immediately or within a short notice is an advantage
- Minimum 5 years of knowledge of the following technologies:
- VMware vCenter: ESXi, SRM, VRM
- Security operation and technologies such as Privileged Access Management, Endpoint Protection Platform, FirewalloSystem MonitoringoBackup And Recovery
- Windows Server OS with good understanding of Windows AD, DNS, GPO and Failover Clustering – Having certifications will be advantageous.
- SAN storage with good understanding of remote site replication (Knowledge of administrating Hitachi Virtual Storage Platform would be an added advantage) – Having certifications will be advantageous
- Minimum 3 project cycles in a role of senior system engineer.
- Strong troubleshooting skillsHave experience working with cross-functional team
