JOB DESCRIPTION

With the rapidly ageing population in Singapore and other countries, we are in an exciting growth phase, hoping to contribute and enlarge our impact through innovation, technology and our domain strength. We are actively looking for a self-driven professionals to join us as FINANCE SPECIALIST.

You are expected to work in a high pace but fun, exciting and supportive environment and shall be constantly challenged to step out of your comfort zone, pioneer and try new ideas, and acquire new skills. As this is a multi-faceted role, you will have to be versatile and adaptable, while given ample opportunities to try new things and acquire new skills. The boundary to learning is only limited to the skills and potential of the individual. Your duties shall include:


Finance

  • Manage full set of accounts, including invoicing, receipt updates, vendor invoice processing, payment arrangements, journal entries, inter-company charges, bank reconciliation, balance sheet schedules, fixed assets registers, and general ledger maintenance.
  • Prepare and handle AR, AP, GL function.
  • Prepare consolidated account for Singapore and wholly owned subsidiary in Malaysia
  • Prepare timely and accurate monthly financial and management reports for management and other stakeholders
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with all accounting standards.
  • Prepare/file GST tax filing and work with external consultant to file corporate tax.
  • Support annual external audit
  • Prepare financial budget and yearly forecast.

Others

  • Support corporate secretarial matters (e.g. AGM, DRIW, BOD, etc)
  • Process monthly payroll and expense claims
  • Handle submission of statutory payments and claims such as CPF, IRAS/AIS, Childcare Leave, NSmen Make-Up Pay, etc
  • Support HR Administration
  • Other ad-hoc projects or assignments as required


REQUIREMENTS:

  • University graduate with at least 5 years’ experience in finance
  • Some experience in corporate secretariat/ administration work
  • Prior working experience in SME or Startup will be an advantage
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Working knowledge of finance systems (e.g. Xero)
  • Versatile, self-starter, fast learner
  • Organized, detailed, proactive, and self-motivated
  • Comfortable with evolving and fluid roles as we are a growing SME
  • Good written and communication skills
