Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain financial records, including general ledger accounts, financial statements, and other financial reports.
- Perform month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.
- Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable and receivable, and other financial accounts.
- Analyze financial information to identify discrepancies, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
- Assist in budget preparation and monitoring, including variance analysis and forecasting.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations and reporting requirements.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary information and documentation.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial information and support decision-making processes.
- Stay updated on accounting principles, standards, and best practices to ensure compliance and efficiency.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 4 years of experience in accounting or financial reporting roles.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP) and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and prepare accurate reports.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping and reporting.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
