Job Description:
Position Overview: The Business and Operations Analyst will play a critical role in optimizing our retail operations. This position will involve analyzing various aspects of business performance, identifying opportunities for improvement, and supporting strategic decision-making to enhance overall efficiency and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management:
- New SKU creation in POS system
- Prepare and generate stock allocation report for new incoming shipment
- Prepare and generate monthly supply plan
- Prepare and generate weekly store replenishment plan
- Manage system inventory to ensure accuracy
- Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare and present regular operational reports to management
- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth
- Sales Analysis: Identify slow-moving items
- Inventory Analysis: Review inventory levels across different outlets and arrange inter-store rebalancing
- Analyze and review new item sales
- Operational Efficiency:
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance operational efficiency
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement
- Ensure proper maintenance and upkeep of store facilities and equipment
- Standard Operating Procedures:
- Update company SOP and staff handbook
- Marketing and Promotions:
- Creation and editing of artwork for promotions, events, and in-store displays
- Any other tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Business Administration, Retail Management, Supply Chain Management or a related field with minimum 2 years working experience
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and BI tools (e.g., Power BI)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks effectively
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
