As a Senior Executive, Technical Operations, the candidate is responsible to lead the team to ensure safe operation and maintenance of the rides/attractions and compliance with related Standing Instructions.
Main Responsibilities:
- To perform duties of Duty Superintendent and carry-out day to day maintenance and operations of all MFL's rides/attractions.
- To execute all routine maintenance jobs, maintain all proper records, checklists are ticked according to what has been checked. (Daily, weekly, monthly, yearly etc.)
- Ensure correct performance of the regular inspection and maintenance works by the maintenance crew. Correct remedying of defects, detected during inspection and maintenance works.
- Overhaul, periodic servicing check, record and logs.
- Ensure the instruction, training and equipment of the technical staff in such way that they can perform the tasks assigned.
- Always look out for any abnormal sound, defect or malfunctioning, and report it to Superior for immediate rectification.
- Fault / Defect rectification – immediate attention to any fault / defect and identify root cause.
- In-charge to respective scope e.g. Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulics, Overhaul etc. and be responsible for all matters under his care.
- Provide instruction, training and equipment for ropeway staff to ensure that they can perform the tasks assigned.
- Adherence to the safety regulations and the safe operation of the installation.
- Advise respective stations in abnormal operation situations and to arrange assistance from other staff to deal with serious breakdowns, to attend any emergency as required in the Contingency Plan, and to coordinate the evacuation of contingency procedures in emergency.
- Identify the risks, having safe work procedures and implement risk control measures.
- To achieve cost saving methods by assisting to get the appropriate vendor for the work required, and to raise Purchase Order in Oracle System)
- Ensure compliance with related Standing Instructions and Contingency Plan.
- Any other matters required by HOU and HOD.
Requirements for the role:
- Diploma or Degree in any Technical field or Operations experience, preferably in Electrical Engineering.
- At least 2 to 3 years of relevant experience is preferred.
- Previous experience in the attractions industry, along with qualifications or expertise in Workplace Safety and Health and Work at height, would be beneficial.
- Must have good analytical, problem solving, customer service attitude and organizational abilities.
- Work in rotating shifts, as assigned by supervisors.
- Certification in Workplace Safety and Health is preferred.
