Job Duties:
- 6 months maternity cover
- Develop and implement strategies to optimise liquidity and cash balances to meet payment requirements and maximise returns on surplus funds through investment.
- Recommend and implement investment strategies to maximize returns on surplus cash while ensuring compliance with investment policies and regulatory requirements.
- Prepares investment recommendations by researching and evaluating a list of bonds within the required limits of the investment policy to ensure that management has the correct information in making its decisions.
- Develop and execute a hedging strategy to manage the organization’s exchange rate risk.
- Ensure that all banking relationships operate efficiently, ensuring that transactions are recorded in an accurate and timely manner.
- Manage the relationship with banks and be responsible for meeting KYC requirements and ensuring that quality issues are addressed in relation to bank service fees.
- Maintain an effective system of policies and procedures that impose an appropriate level of control over treasury activities to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned
