Job Summary

Responsible for monitor and allocating of the claim processes as well as drawing of schematic and CAD drawing related to customer requirement for project progression and claiming purposes. Overseeing the claim status and update management with a consolidated weekly/monthly report.


Working Hours

The basic hours of work are 44 hours a week or eight (8) hours per day from 0800hr to 1700hr, and generally is from Monday to Friday, inclusive of an (1) one-hour lunch break, 0800hr to 1200hr on Saturday and rest day will then be Sunday. However, this working schedule or the rest day may be changed when necessary subject to your department operation needs.


Responsibilities

  • Allocation of contract/claims to respective drafter to follow up.
  • Overseeing and monitor the claim processes and status.
  • Produce all drawings, schematics, layout and plan using CAD software. (i.e. TCP drawing / Schematics diagrams and As-Built Plan)
  • Monitor assigned project on daily costing and item/material used. Ensure submitted drawings, plans, quantities are clear and accurate
  • Liaise and coordinate with project team and contract owner and provide necessary support
  • Complies and prepare documents based on specification and requirement for the projects.
  • Maintain and control documents, ensure documents are uploaded into company operating system / server for audit trail.
  • Submit claims documents / bills within the indicated deadlines
  • Preparation of report according to company and contract owner requirement.
  • Participate in meetings as required.
  • Involvement in additional curriculum and other tasks assigned.

Functional Competencies

  • Proficiency in Auto-CAD Software, able to produce detailed drawings and schematic according to specification and requirement
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word / Excel / PowerPoint / InfoPath, adobe PDF editing or equivalent. Advance/expert knowledge in excel and able to do data analysis is preferable.
  • Good adaptability in learning new software as different contract owners have their own operating system for report and claim submission.
  • Good proficient in English language, able to write and communicate with stakeholder using web mail, or other form of communication device / application.
  • Able communicate and negotiate with contract owner and project / claim related issues
  • Able to work under stress and strict deadlines

Education and Qualification

  • Diploma with knowledge on project management and IT equivalent.

Experience

  • 2 years of working experience preferable, fresh graduate with relevant knowledge and willing to learn are welcome as well.
