Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Business Development Manager to lead our efforts in expanding our market presence and driving revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the water treatment industry, particularly in filtration membranes, and a proven track record in business development, sales, and strategic partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies to achieve sales targets and expand market share.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including potential clients, markets, and partnerships.
- Lead negotiations and close high-value deals with customers and partners.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, industry partners, and government agencies.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to stay informed about industry trends and identify growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with the technical and product development teams to ensure alignment of business development efforts with company goals and product capabilities.
- Represent Atera Water at industry conferences, trade shows, and other relevant events to promote our membrane solutions.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients and partners.
- Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on business development activities, pipeline, and performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field. Advanced degree or MBA is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the water treatment industry, with a focus on filtration membranes.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Strong understanding of water treatment technologies and market dynamics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to think strategically and develop innovative solutions to complex business challenges.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients, partners, and attend industry events.
