We are looking to hire a Cybersecurity Expert in Singapore to support our client (work location in Jurong):
- BTech/ BE, MCA, MSc (Information Technology), Cybersecurity, or a related field with Advanced degrees or relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH)
- 8 -10 years of experience in cloud security frameworks and architecture.
- Experience in security technologies such as: Security information and event management (SIEM), IDS/IPS, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Proxy, Web Application Firewall (WAF), Endpoint detection and response (EDR), Anti-Virus, Sandboxing, network- and host- based firewalls, Threat Intelligence, Penetration Testing, Advanced Persistent Threats (APT)
- Proven track record in assessing and recommending cybersecurity controls across various domains.
- In-depth understanding of security controls, frameworks, and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, CIS, GDPR Controls).
- Proficiency in network security, application security, cloud security, and identity management.
- Capable of Developing tailored cybersecurity strategies and roadmaps based on client needs.
- Engage with clients to understand their business processes, existing security posture, and requirements.
- Assist clients in prioritizing security initiatives based on risk assessments and resource availability.
- Core understanding of possible attack activities such as network probing/ scanning, DDOS, malicious code activity, etc
- Core understanding of common network infrastructure devices and networking protocols
- Experience with Python and/or PowerShell a plus.
