Responsibilities:
- Setting gauges and preparation /issuing of inspection sheets and gauging procedures
- Perform incoming check and verification of raw materials, customers supplied materials, sub-con operations and instruments;
- Dimensional verification
- Hardness check
- Mill Certificate Verification
- VTI
- Short term rental gauges
- Perform final check on finished parts and routers/documentation/inspection sheet ensuring compliance to licensor’s / customers’ requirements
- Conduct scheduled daily phosphate titration test and monthly coupon test
- Perform threading inserts verification
- To raise Non-Conformance / Incident Reports on discrepancy discovered
- To conduct internal process audit
- Responsible for maintaining the integrity of gauge room
- Responsible for ensuring work is carried out in accordance with documented procedures
Job requirement
- Gauging and measuring instruments knowledge and skills (essential)
- CMM or FARO ARM experience
- Comfortable to perform night shift if required
- GCE ‘O’ and above
