Our client is looking for suitable talents to join their business as Restaurant Manager.
As the Restaurant Manager, you are entrusted with supporting the company in overseeing and elevating the dining experience to surpass guest expectations. You will become the ambassador and embodiment of the restaurant’s unique personality and vision. Your leadership will ensure the restaurant operates seamlessly, aligning with management's strategic goals to position our client as a premier sustainable dining destination in Singapore.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operational Excellence
- Orchestrate daily operations to deliver impeccable service and culinary standards.
- Forecast sales, manage payroll, and optimize staffing levels.
- Uphold pristine cleanliness and presentation throughout the restaurant.
- Develop, implement, and refine Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Conduct routine inspections with hygiene officers and maintain equipment standards.
- Execute project management including research of equipment, materials, supplies and methods, sourcing and negotiating with qualified suppliers or contractors, reviewing contracts, and quality control during all stages of the project.
- Establish menu pricing baes on market knowledge and cost considerations
- Coordinate seamlessly with culinary, catering sales, and service teams.
- Champion the company's Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives.
Exemplary Guest Experience
- Engage directly with guests to ensure their satisfaction and loyalty.
- Swiftly and discreetly handle guest complaints and feedback.
- Lead the service and culinary teams to tailor personalized dining experiences.
Team Leadership
- Mentor and inspire the team, fostering a culture of excellence and growth.
- Conduct regular team meetings, training sessions, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with company's grooming and hygiene standards.
- Attend daily meetings and all relevant meetings, and advise Foods & Beverage Operations Manager on topics of importance.
Strategic Marketing and Revenue Management
- Confidently represent and promote the restaurant’s brand.
- Identify and implement strategies to enhance revenue and control costs.
- Provide accurate revenue forecasts and insightful sales analysis.
Comprehensive Training and Development
- Prepare training manual and conduct departmental service training in coordination with Chef In-charge.
- Organize and conduct ongoing training for team members.
- Facilitate a thorough orientation for new hires, ensuring adherence to hotel regulations and emergency procedures.
- Commit to continuous personal and professional development.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Food and Beverage/Hospitality Management or extensive hands-on experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the hotel, restaurant and bar environment, with 2 years in a managerial role.
- Prior experience in Asia, particularly Singapore or Southeast Asia is preferred.
- Strong understanding of culinary trends and sustainability.
- Involvement in reservations and understanding of Revenue Management processes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Service-oriented with a keen eye for detail and innovation.
- Visionary leader with a commitment to professional and brand excellence.
OTHER INFORMATION:
- Location: Central (Near MRT)
- Working hours: 5-day work week (including weekends)
- Salary: Salary will commensurate according to experience & qualifications.
