This is a fresh to mid-level position for candidates who have prior working experience in social media agencies. You MUSTbe competent in content production for social media (TikTok, live-streaming, videography, photography, styling) and have a strong interest and portfolio of work to show for it.
The role requires you to be digitally savvy, have an experienced strategic mind and good understanding of our clients' business goals and the audience’s interest so that you can plan, develop and deliver content that would meet specific social KPIs. You are able to leverage on data insights to strategise for lead generation, recommend social media post formats for engagement and link clicks, and develop overall creative strategy for big bang campaigns. Preferably, you will also have client management skills. Most importantly, you have a good command of the English language (spoken and written).
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the content production for social media (copywriting, storyboarding, scripting, shooting, styling)
- Listen to and learn from clients, becoming the resident expert in their stories, contexts, and audiences
- Support the development of strategies in a creative and resonant way to drive scale, amplify the brand story, educate and inspire consumers, while improving social sentiment and recognition
- Play an instrumental role in client pitches and other new business efforts
- Understand the use of AI to help create short-format content
- Collaborate with the Account Services, Design and Digital Marketing team to craft content strategy and campaign planning for brand development
- Work with the Design team to translate information into meaningful structures
- Write, proof and edit copy to ensure consistency in tone, style, and grammar
- Follow industry-related news and trending topics
- Generate spin-off ideas from trending topics
- Be quick to grab "hot topic" opportunities
REQUIREMENTS
Education:
- Any degree or diploma so long as you have the creative flair & passion for writing in English.
- Usually Degree or Diploma in Mass Communication / Advertising / Marketing / Journalism.
Experience:
- At least 1-2 years of experience in a communication/marketing/social media agency and/or a combination of public relations/marketing communications experience. Having experience in the B2B market will be a plus.
- Has shown a good track record of creativity, originality and even experimental work. Your portfolio must be able to speak for you
- In-the-know about the various social media platforms and what’s trending
- UX experience would be advantageous
