What the role is
The Singapore Prison Service protects society through the safe and secure custody of offenders. We take the lead in providing guidance to offenders under our charge and assist them in their reintegration upon their release. We cooperate with our partners in aftercare and prevention, working with them to rehabilitate, renew, and restart the lives of offenders so they can become productive members of society. As Captains of Lives, our team of uniformed officers and civilian staff work together to inspire everyone at every chance towards a society without reoffending.
What you will be working on
As Captains of Lives, we are akin to the first drop of water that touches the pond and creating a ripple effect. Our work goes beyond being a guard; we aspire to create a positive impact in the lives of offenders, and inspire everyone at every chance towards a society without re-offending.
What we are looking for
- A Degree in any discipline
- Medically and physically fit (For Males: PES B1 and above; at least a “Pass” in IPPT in latest year)
- Normal colour vision
