We are looking for a dedicated and experience HR Generalist to join our team and contribute to our continued success.
Job Summary:
The HR Generalist will be primarily responsible for managing work pass application, cancellations, and renewals, overseeing accommodation, personal protective equipment (PPE), the onboarding process for all foreign employees, and managing the driver’s schedule. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR practices related to foreign workforce management and a passion for supporting and enhancing our company culture.
Key Responsibilities:
· Apply for, renew and cancel work passes for foreign employees in compliance with local regulations.
· Maintain accurate records of work pass status and ensure timely renewals and cancellations
· Liaise with relevant authorities and stakeholders regarding work pass matters
· Coordinate and manage accommodation arrangements for foreign employees.
· Ensure accommodation facilities are well maintained and meet company standards
· Address any accommodation-related issues and concerns promptly
· Assist in ensuring foreign employees are provided with the necessary PPE according to job requirements.
· Assist in monitoring and maintaining an inventory of PPE and ensure timely replenishment.
· Conduct regular checks to ensure compliance with safety standards
· Develop and implement an effective onboarding process for foreign employees
· Conduct orientation sessions to familiarize new hires with company policies, procedures and culture.
· Assist foreign employees in settling into their new roles and environment.
· Plan and coordinate schedules for company drivers to ensure efficient transportation services
· Communicate with drivers to confirm schedules and address any changes or issues.
· Maintain records of driver schedules, routes and trip details.
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records
· Prepare and analyze HR reports and metrics to support decision-making
· Ensure compliance with labour laws, regulations and company policies.
· Ad hoc projects given by the Management/HR Manager.
Qualifications
· Diploma in HR, BA or related fields
· Proven experience as an HR Generalist or similar role, preferably with experience managing foreign employees
· Strong knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and regulations related to foreign workforce
· Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
· Proficient in HR software and Microsoft Office Suit
· Strong organizational and time management skills.
