To continue the legacy of Goodwood Park, we are looking for dynamic and committed candidates to join our Central Purchasing Unit (CPU).
Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, your job responsibilities include, but not limited to:-
Duties & Responsibilities
· Review pricings and process for all purchases
· Collaborate with relevant departments to plan stock requirements and work out strategy to reduce out of stock situation and contingency plan
· Ensure all orders process timely
· Request for quotations as well as samples for evaluation
· Exercises cost effectiveness by sourcing alternative and negotiation
· Calls tender for perishable items, beverages, Sundries, Wine and Spirits
· Tabulating of Price Summary and recommendation of award for various work streams that are assign to
· Ensure forms and documents are properly filled for all Procurement processes
· Ensure all prices are updated in system
· Follow up closely on outstanding Purchase
· Perform any other duties assigned by the management
Requirements
· Diploma level or equivalent
· Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in the hotel industry
· Strong working knowledge on Negotiation and Procurement Policies
· Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
· Possess leadership skill in managing a team.
· Positive mindset with good attitude and integrity.
· Good Communication skills with all levels of colleagues and suppliers with confidence to achieve the best deal for the hotels
