- Conduct macroeconomic research (quantitative and qualitative data) to draft a comprehensive white paper to government agencies on a Special Economic Zone
- Investigate public policies that will impact macroeconomic forces and financial markets (e.g., government policies on firm/individual-level outcomes)
- Monitor and keep abreast of Cambodian public policy regulations and communique
- Review government legislation and regulatory proposals and provide technical recommendations
- Examine statistical data on the exchange of goods and services in the region, and propose tax and business incentives to drive investments
- Research financial products, issuance, and related policies, and conduct peer benchmarking with financial centers in the region
- Prepare reports, presentations, and correspondence material to advance the development of the SEZ
Qualifications
- 3 -5 years of experience in a public policy, economics research, or consultancy role for Associate Level
- Academic English is mandatory, business Chinese fluency is advantageous
