Position summary : will be actively involve in the area of Application Integration to provide integration solutions for National projects such as Billing Transformation for IT enablement and delivery. The position offered is in a dynamic environment which requires the candidate to support ongoing projects such as integration with other National and Cluster systems. Other day-to-day duties include operational support for tasks such as interfaces monitoring, interface troubleshooting, development and testing on the product (Rhapsody) using JavaScripts for scripting.
- Provide on-going integration support and be involved in project on various stages of the SDLC. Involvement in the system integration testing phase prior to implementation is an important milestone of the project for successful deployment of integration solution on time.
- Work with project team and conduct system-to-system requirement and analysis for the implementation of new systems and for enhancements to existing systems as part of the integration solution.
- Hands-on in development work on message parsing for data transformation through Javascripts and message mapping tools is a must.
- Design and orchestrate the data flow from upstream system to downstream systems to meets the solution requirements.
- Evaluate potential solutions and make recommendations to resolve data flow problems in respective to the hospital business model.
- Liaise closely with business users and build good rapport.
- Liaise closely with analysts in project implementation, application testing, supporting application patches and upgrades in accordance with project methodologies and policies.
- Support the team in defining project requirements, tracking and documentation.
- Provide 24/7 primary application maintenance standby support
- A good team player and a quick learner to embrace new technical challenges to acquire the skills to deliver the work.
- Good communication skills, strong analytical skills and ability to work independently.
- Good understanding of data transmission protocol such as TCPIP, SOAP and REST.
- Knowledge in HL7, XML and JSON would be useful.
- Debugging and programing is needed with JavaScripts and tools on Rhapsody (6.6) IDE.
- Working experience with Rhapsody would be an advantage.
- Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent
