Our client in the Healthcare industry is looking for an Assistant Director/Senior Assistant Director (Direct report to a Director) to assist in overseeing annual renewals, managing claims, conducting analytics, preparing financial and regulatory reports, handling administration, facilitating training, and reviewing new insurance programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct annual insurance and reinsurance program renewals promptly.
- Collaborate with Institutions and brokers to gather underwriting information for renewals.
- Review and assess new insurance programs for the organization as required.
- Perform actuarial and analytical studies on historical claims data, leveraging actuarial consultants as necessary.
- Plan and organize training sessions for Institutions.
- Identify and collaborate with training providers, managing content curation, billing, and administration.
- Manage the submission for financial/regulatory reporting and administration.
- Prepare and facilitate AGM and Board meetings.
- Conduct procurement tenders in line with procurement policy.
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree with at least 8 years of relevant experience in general insurance.
- Prior experience in Healthcare Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) is highly advantageous.
- Strong proficiency in financial analysis and modelling.
- Excellent written communication skills, capable of simplifying complex concepts.
- Advanced skills in Excel.
