Job Description:
Responsible for the supervision of Electrical Equipment testing and commissioning at site, review and submission of site acceptance test reports.
Review Single Line Diagrams and Electrical Schematic Drawings.
Assist in Electrical Equipment Installation Inspections.
Attend to Site Activities and Meetings involving clients and contractors.
Operate computer-assisted software (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel) and have simple PLC knowledge and equipment to perform engineering tasks.
Inspect completed installations and observe operations, to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications and compliance with operational and safety standards.
Prepare specifications for purchase of electrical materials and equipment.
Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by the immediate superior.
Able to work on-site.
General maintenance includes following the manufacturer’s guidelines on testing and maintaining equipment.
Periodic checks make sure the equipment is functioning properly and also to identify any issues that may cause premature failure.
Must ensure compliance in the electrical systems.
Able to do coordinate installation.
Able to do maintenance and test activities.
Able to solve the issues in the electrical projects in the construction projects.
Able to lead the team of workers and site supervisors.
Conduct regular inspection of existing Electrical installation to ensure that all maintenance programmes are implemented effectively in strict compliance with instructions and guidelines.
Ensure all works carried out safely and / or in accordance with safety procedures.
Job Requirements:
Candidate must process at least Diploma in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or equivalent
Preferably with 2-3 Year(s) of working experience in Engineering, Semiconductor and/or any other related field/industry is required for this position.
