Roles and Responsibilities:
- Indications and Early Warning: Proactive monitoring of global geopolitical events and established risk indicators.
- Protective Intelligence: Identifying and escalating external threats against client personnel, assets, and reputation, including monitoring persons and groups of interest.
- Event / Travel Security Intelligence: real-time monitoring of security incidents, threats, and online content that have the potential to impact Client’s events and business travel.
- Intelligence Support for Incident/Crisis Management: Providing dedicated real-time intelligence during crises, including monitoring, dissemination to response teams, and contributing to crisis analysis and forecasting.
- Targeted Intelligence Collection for Analysis and Risk Forecasting: Collecting and analyzing all-source intelligence as per defined requirements to support security risk analysis and forecasting.
- Targeted Monitoring for Cross-Functional Partners: Monitoring specific issues relevant to cross-functional partners to facilitate informed decision-making.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in military service, government, law enforcement, private security, corporate intelligence, or a related field.
- Multilingual proficiency of Asian languages. Arabic will be an added advantage.
- Demonstrated interest in security policies, best practices, and procedures, with a customer service mindset.
- Ability to monitor the news, social media, other information feeds and quickly determine the impact of security events and crises on business operations.
- Excellent research skills, with the ability to rapidly digest, evaluate and “sift” large quantities of information from a range of sources.
- High level of competency with MS Office tools, Lenel, Jira, Milestone, Everbridge, VCC, CCure, dataminr and associated apps/channels
- Willingness to work on a flexible shift rota, including on nights, weekends and public holidays
Candidates with the following competencies and personal attributes are preferred:
- 1+ years of experience conducting open source information collection, research, or analysis of global security issues along with managing the SOC.
- Experience using OSINT tools
- Prior training or educational coursework on research, analytical, or intelligence techniques and working in the SOC managing day to day operations
