What you'll do:
As a Supply Chain Manager, you will play a crucial role in understanding and influencing Southeast Asia's supply chain flows and network. You will be responsible for managing inventory levels to balance costs while meeting demands for both direct markets and distributors. Your role will also involve supervising the demand and supply planning team, taking ownership of sales planning, distribution processes, collaborating with distributors for sales forecast accuracy, facilitating S&OP processes within the SEA cluster, controlling logistics management, understanding customs rules by market, managing FTA involvement for some markets among other responsibilities.
- Influence Southeast Asia (SEA) supply chain flows and network
- Manage inventory levels to balance costs and meet demand for both direct markets and distributors
- Supervise the demand and supply planning team and processes
- Take ownership of the sales planning and distribution process
- Collaborate with distributors for sales forecast accuracy and stock coverage management
- Facilitate the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process within the SEA cluster
- Control logistics management, overseeing movement of goods including transportation, warehousing, and distribution
- Understand and apply customs rules and regulations by market, as well as triangulation flow specific to Asia Pacific Region
- Manage involvement of FTA for some markets, customs duties, documentation in import/export and others
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Enthusiastic Supply Chain Manager role will hold a university degree, preferably in Supply Chain, Economics or Industrial/Management Engineering. You will bring knowledge of Supply Chain in different areas such as Logistics, Planning, Customer Service and project management, with relevant experience in the FMCG industry. Your strong analytical ability and cognitive thought will be matched by your high result orientation and problem-solving skills. You will have the ability to manage complexities with multiple variables along with flexibility and adaptability to change. Excellent interpersonal communication skills are essential for managing multiple stakeholders. Agility and capability of adapting/multi-tasking in a fast-paced continuously changing environment are also key.
- University degree preferably in Supply Chain, Economics or Industrial/Management Engineering
- Knowledge of Supply Chain in different areas such as Logistics, Planning, Customer Service and project management
- Relevant experience in FMCG industry
- Strong analytical ability and cognitive thought with high result orientation and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage complexities with multiple variables along with flexibility and adaptability to change
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills with ability manage multiple stakeholders
- Agility and capability of adapting/multi-tasking in a fast-paced continuously changing environment
- Advanced MS Office skills, Power BI, VBA , SAP ECC / APO, predictive statistic understanding
- Fluency in English, written and spoken; any other language is considered a plus
