About the role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Associate/ Partner Principal to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Corporate Venture Capital / Venture Capital, private equity, strategic consulting or investment banking, with a proven track record of identifying and managing successful investments. This role involves sourcing new investment opportunities, conducting thorough due diligence, and providing strategic support to portfolio companies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deal Sourcing: Identify and evaluate potential investment opportunities through networking, industry research, and attending relevant events and conferences.
- Due Diligence: Conduct comprehensive due diligence on prospective investments, including market analysis, financial modeling, competitive landscape assessment, and management team evaluation.
- Investment Management: Oversee and manage a portfolio of investments, providing strategic guidance and support to portfolio companies to drive growth and value creation.
- Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with entrepreneurs, industry experts, co-investors, and other key stakeholders.
- Market Analysis: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and market dynamics to inform investment decisions and identify new opportunities.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to share insights, collaborate on investment opportunities, and contribute to the overall success of the firm.
Required Qualifications:
- Passionate for innovative technology at least 3-5 years’ experience in venture investing, private equity, equity research, investment banking or IT/strategic consulting.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Economics, or a related field. MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, with the ability to assess complex business models and market opportunities.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present investment opportunities and strategies clearly and persuasively.
- Network: Established network within the venture capital and startup ecosystem, with a track record of sourcing and closing successful investments.
- Leadership: Demonstrated leadership and mentorship abilities, with experience managing and developing junior team members.
- Passion: A genuine passion for entrepreneurship, innovation, and supporting high-growth companies.
